How we handle it
You bring the car in and tell us if the trouble is with cooling, heat, airflow, or smell.
We measure the vent temperature and hook gauges to the AC to read the pressures.
We add dye or use a sniffer to find any refrigerant leak, and we check the heat side and the blower.
We fix the leak or part, recharge the AC to the exact factory amount, and retest the vent temperature.

- AC high-side and low-side pressures against the target range.
- Refrigerant charge level and any signs of leaks with dye or a detector.
- The compressor clutch, the belt, and how the compressor cycles.
- The cabin air filter and the blower motor airflow.
- Coolant level and heater core flow for the heat side.
Why this matters
A small AC leak only gets bigger, and running the system low on refrigerant can burn out the compressor, which is the priciest part. On the heat side, no defrost is a safety problem in an Ohio winter. Fixing it early keeps a cheap seal from turning into a big compressor job.
